Born and raised on a hog farm in rural Iowa. Escaped by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps, later continuing the journey playing professional baseball in Europe where I met my wife. Today we reside with our Maltese on a boat-in only bridgeless barrier island off of Florida’s gulf coast. We run a pizzeria, a sightseeing boat charter business, and I’m also an ordained minister.

I wrote mostly country straight out of real emotions from heartache, ranging from women of the past and present along with suffered turmoil after surviving three category four hurricanes in the last two years.
