Walter Grund

Walter's talent got into shape with 9 years of classical guitar training, one year at Musician's Institute (Los Angeles) and four years at one of Germany's best Music Universities (Stuttgart). He graduated both with excellent results.

In 2006 first fruits started to fall off when some of Walter's songs got released as a CD-title track in the U.S. Striking lyrics, blended with Jazz-sounds and the simplicity and power of rock rhythms got acknowledged through several releases on the Sony/BMG/Provident label "Galilee of the Nations". Walter also recorded three instrumental albums combining acoustic guitar sounds with modern grooves. They're distributed by cdbaby.com+itunes worldwide. One of those titles got released on a Warner (Europe) wellness CD.

Walter's written and produced over 600 songs and instrumentals which got translated and sung in Latin America, Belarus and Greece. He's an aknowledeged music-teacher and his DVD "Acoustic guitar basics" in German language that got sold over 2000 times.

Walter is working as chosen engraver for CCLI Germany on their songselect project and works as a representative for the Roland/Boss company in Germany.

Since 2009 he has successfully placed a couple of hundred tracks in several music-libraries in the US, GB and Germany and has had over 16.000 placements in well-known shows like "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and "Dr. Oz" to mention a few.
