Vincent DiGeronimo

Vincent is a NYC-based singer, songwriter, and actor. He always loved theatre, pursuing a Bachelor's Degree at Lehman College in his hometown of the Bronx. Vincent developed a love of theatre and storytelling while a young teenager; it was this love of storytelling and his love of music that led him to writing his own songs. Heavily inspired by autobiographical writers of the 90’s, Paula Cole, Ani DiFranco, Natalie Merchant, Vincent taught himself to play piano and guitar to write his own stories in music.

In 2009, Vincent independently produced and released his first album of demos, “Not Again.” It allowed him to join festivals (such as Bearapoolza) while he continued to audition and perform in Off-Broadway theatres, theatre festivals (NYMF, Fringe Festival), and regional theatres. In 2015, Vincent released his second-album, “think. strings. machines.” which found its way into his idol’s ear. It was around that time, Vincent was asked to sing with Grammy-Award winning artist, Paula Cole. Vincent has had the honor and pleasure to sing a few times with Cole, whom she now considers “a friend and spontaneous duetest.” with a “gorgeous gift.” Vincent still pinches himself when he reads those tweets.

Before the pandemic struck, Vincent was voted runner-up at RockBar’s Gays Got Singing competition. Though he didn’t win, he cultivated a relationship with the bar that has allowed him to perform and celebrate his music there. In 2021, Vincent released his third independently produced album, “Nine/24,” navigating grief after the passing of his father, depression, and polyamorous love. He had an album release show at Rockbar in 2021 and looks forward to celebrating his music there for years to come.

Vincent’s upcoming 4th album, “Here, My Heart,” was released in the fall of 2023. This will be Vincent’s first album of pop music. Vincent ran a successful crowd-funding campaign in early 2023 to fund this pop album. Inspired by Ingrid Micahelson’s “Stranger Songs” concept album for the show, Stranger Things, Vincent wrote a concept album inspired by a graphic novel and Netflix series celebrating queer joy. Earl Wilson Jr., the Grammy-nominated writer of the Off-Broadway musical, “Let My People Come,” once said, “You have a voice that writers love to write for.” Vincent loves singing the songs of other writers, but loves expressing and digging deep into his own voice and words.
