Elias Mäntylä

Elias Mäntylä is a composer and classical guitar player from Finland. At the moment based in New York and a recent graduate of Berklee College of Music, with a double major in Film Scoring & Classical Guitar Performance.

On top of his extensive education, he has honed his skills by scoring short films from top film schools like SCAD and Emerson College.

Elias also worked as a remote production intern for Dastardly Sounds in LA for a year where he edited, mixed and created tracks for TV / Media use. Elias is passionate about starting in the industry as a music editor in Film & TV. He is currently seeking roles to assist in production houses, music editorials and studios to get his foot in the door.

Elias is confident composing in vast style of genres to fit the mood of the picture, from orchestral to fully electronic scores. Same can be said about his proficiency on the guitar, which translates to new and interesting contemporary guitar pieces for both solo and multiple guitars.
