Terence P. Minogue

Overview
Terence P. Minogue earned 2 RIAA Certified Gold Records, for arrangements on Jim Croce’s “I Got A Name” LP and “I'll Have To Say I Love You” for ABC Records. His arrangements are on over 200 recordings. He’s worked for major labels: Warner Bros., CBS/Epic, RCA, Atlantic, Capitol, AVCO-Embassy, ABC, United Artist, A&M, Buddah, and LifeSong. While Director of A&R at LifeSong Records (CBS/Epic), he produced the successful band, Crack the Sky and arranged 37 commercials.

Noel Marshall & Tippi Hedren had Minogue score their motion picture ROAR for Universal Studios. The National Philharmonic (London) played the soundtrack. He produced the film’s soundtrack album. ROAR was released worldwide and enjoyed major success in Germany, Australia, Italy, and Japan. He orchestrated 3 TV series: THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO (ABC), THE QUEST (CBS), & TALES OF THE GOLD MONKEY (ABC).

Education
From 1969 to 1972, Terence Minogue studied composition at Temple University, and also holds a BS in Marketing, and an MBA.

Recent Accomplishments
Terence Minogue was commissioned by the Dubuque Symphony and Choir to write two pieces: Sweet Was the Song and Christmas Bells. Other commissions came from the John Nelson Chorus in New York, and the 3D Trio from Ventura County Master Chorale, who performed Terence Minogue’s Psalm 13 in Eastern Europe and Credo Prelude in Finland. As Composer-in-Residence at Church of the Foothills in Ventura, he wrote major works including Maginificat!, The Feminine Face of God, and Earthbound (a Story of Angels).

Other groups that have performed Minogue’s compositions include: Altoona (PA) Symphony, Owensboro (KY) Symphony, combined choirs-UCC, Portland (OR) Symphony, and Gold Coast Chorus in Ventura. His religious music is performed in churches throughout the US. Minogue recently completed/recorded a symphonic work, American Holidays.
