Don is a Graduate of The University of Western Ontario in London Ontario holding a Bachelor of Musical Arts (1993).In 1994, Don Graduated from The University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Education.Don holds an Honour's Specialist in Music which he completed in 1997 at The University of Toronto. Don has been teaching high school music since 1995 sharing his passion for music with young adolescents. During this time Don has achieved numerous awards at band and vocal competitions internationally.

Over the years, Don has performed professionally in a variety of bands (blues, rock, alternative, concert bands, jazz, latin, salsa). Don's zest for composition really began to evolve in 2000 when he was hired to travel to both Japan and China to compose music for Rhythmic Gymnasts. Not only did Don compose for gymnastics, but also for figure skating routines.

Don is currently continuing to educate young musicians while pursuing a career in composition for TV/Movies. For more information, please visit bol-z.com.
