Growing up in the unforgiving streets of Inglewood, California, SoLo1’s talents and ability would not allow him to become just another statistic. Writing and performing has been a part of his life since he could remember.

Inspired by such artists as Nas, Eminem & Dr. Dre SoLo1’s music provides a great blend of styles from different area codes and eras. Since the age of 18, he has traveled across the globe learning his craft and spearheading the movement in what he calls “Ethos People” This project reflects how he can deliver a wide range of poetic rhymes over a series of melodic beats that impact the lives of his tribe. Other artists have called him "a virtuoso on the mic".

SoLo1 says that much of the passion that comes from his artistry derives from losing his children and the support of a devout family, who stands by him every inch of the way. SoLo1’s ultimate goal is to write and produce for all different kinds of music/film genres, while inspiring the world through his gift of hip-hop.
