John Travis

John Travis was born in Cleveland, Ohio and has resided in Brunswick, Ohio for the past 30 years. John has been writing and performing his own song material since high school. John's band, The Shooters, performed at various clubs in Northern Ohio from the 1970s up until 2006. The band performed mostly hit songs from the 60s & 70s, plus John's original tunes. The band opened for the Ventures, The Guess Who, Ronnie Spector, Pat Dailey, and several other bands back in the 1980s. John currently is focused on song writing, and producing his material with studio musicians at a local recording studio.
John currently has 4 songs recently placed on Spotify which he sings. He also has a country album, Dusty Road, on CDbaby performed by a country singer. John has had numerous publishing contracts over the years and has had prior guidance by the late Scotty Turner. John's writing abilities include Pop, Country, Soft Rock, and Easy Listening.
John's interest has always been to seek out major artists to perform his songs.
