Hitoshi Suzuki is a multi-award winning composer, having studied the cello with Václav Adamíra in Japan and Daniel Veis in the Czech Republic, as well as having studied the piano with Masako Nakajima, Betty Woo, and Vitaly Margulis-ultimately receiving his bachelor's and master's degrees in piano performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. As a composer, he published a collection of original compositions called "Snow Magic," and produced its album in 2013. His flute-harp duo composition “On A Snowy Path” received The Rising Star Award from Oikawa Music in 2015, while his other compositions are used for short films and online drama series. In 2020, Hitoshi received two awards; Incentive Award from Tokyo International Association of Artists for his Prelude and Sentimental Waltz from "Suite for String Quartet", and K Composition Prize for "The Island of Hibiscus" and the "Suite for String Quartet". Hitoshi is a member of National Association of Composers USA, and American String Teachers Association.
