Ellen has been writing songs since she was a kid growing up in Upstate New York, and spent many years performing throughout Atlanta before taking time away to raise a family. She also released several independent albums, including Through the Fields of Home (2001) and You’re the Reason (2017).

The title cut of my new CD, "A Beautiful World", was conceived during covid. She is the youngest of 3 covid songs. The older 2 were riddled with despair . “A Beautiful World” survived because when I would sit down to play the piano it was always “A Beautiful World” that gave me peace and hope.
