Juan Avila
Miami, Florida
Juan Avila is a Dominican-American artist known for reshaping the sounds of Latin, pop, and film music over the past decade. His genre-defying style has made him a celebrated name in Miami's music scene.
Originally from the Dominican Republic, Juan moved to the U.S. and soon applied his classical piano training to songwriting, initially focusing on romantic ballads. He later branched into pop, rock, and hip-hop, blending these styles with reggaeton to create a distinctive sound that connects with diverse audiences.
Juan made his professional debut as a composer and producer for various Latin pop and hip-hop artists. He also gained prominence as a performer and songwriter with a reggaeton group, contributing to multiple hit singles. Notable performances include Miami’s Calle Ocho Festival, appearances on Miami’s TV Channel 47, and Tampa’s Reggaeton Fest.
