J. Maceo (jay MAY-see- oh) is a singer/songwriter from Los Angeles that mixes folk, soul, and blues in such a way that it is both new and nostalgic- like you're hearing it again for the very first time.
With influence like Darius Rucker, Otis Redding, Ray LaMontagne, and Leon Bridges, he calls his style "rockin' soul".
His voice will take you from southern church pews, to country roads to California canyons in songs that tell tales of breakups and breakthroughs.
Since releasing his first single, "Nellie" in 2020, he's played the L.A. music scene and continues to collab with and write for other artists.
