San Francisco-based composer and producer, Peter Cole started playing music at age 10, when he built his first drum set out of coffee cans and coat hangers, and his first guitar made with rubber bands and a shoebox (didn't everyone make one of those?!) After eventually acquiring real instruments, he went on to play in bands ranging in style from punk, to jazz, to alternative rock and orchestral and studied music at the University of California at Santa Cruz, and at the Berkelee College of Music, where his focus was composition.
In addition to creating his own music, Peter currently produces bands and artists in his Bay Area-based recording studio and composes music for TV/film. He is now teaching himself how to build his own sample library software!
Peter's music has been licensed for many TV/film placements including multiple seasons of MTV's Real World The Challenge and Ex On the Beach; as well as for numerous other programs around the world including Better Homes and Gardens, First Dates Hotel, The Charlotte Show, CNN and others.
