I was born in 1940 but I'm far from old. My music career started when I was 6 when my parents had me take piano lessons. I majored in music at the then University of Wichita for 3 semesters before moving to California in 1960 to continued my music endeavors as a singer/songwriter. I started writing and recording songs and had a couple of record releases before I formed my own record label, and publishing company. I continued to write and recorded many songs during the 1960's and 1970's for my label as well as other labels. I also became a partner in a recording studio with another musician and close friend where I Produced & mixed sessions, did complete written out music arrangement's for clients, played keyboard and/or bass and sang backup for literally hundreds of sessions. I continued to make recordings myself and also with another close friend. We appeared on Casey Kasem's "Shebang" TV show, Dick Clark's "Where the Action Is" on ABC and other local Southern California TV shows. We were also regulars on Dick Biondi's KRLA Road Show that was presented at high schools throughout Southern California featuring artist's with current hits. After 40 years of around the clock music I got a bit burnt out and went into video production in the 1990's. For some reason, I recently was inspired to write some new songs and that has caused me to return to my music roots with a fresh and renewed excitement. My main objective is to get my song material recorded by name artist's as at this point in my life I'm not really interested in trying to become a preforming recording artist.
