Camille Janus

Being the second youngest child in a musical family has ingrained music into the heart of songwriter CAMILLE JANUS. From her father, who played several instruments and sang on the radio in the days of the "Big Bands," to her brother, a well known "blue eyed" soul singer, she was motivated to be a performer. CAMILLE was also surrounded by talented sisters who sang, played instruments and wrote music.
     CAMILLE JANUS has been involved with music as long as she can remember.  Making up her first songs at age 2, she continued to study piano, voice and music theory throughout grade school.  At age 15, she was seriously writing music.  By 16, she purchased a guitar, taught herself to play and began to perform her originals in coffee houses.
     CAMILLE pursued a college education in music and theatre.  In time she followed her desire to further her career as an entertainer.  At that time, she put her songwriting in the background and concentrated on her performing.  For several years, she found herself singing and playing keyboards with a well known area group.
In the early 1990's, CAMILLE JANUS diligently returned to her songwriting, heavily concentrating on the production and promotion of her original material.  Writing many styles from country to R & B, she excels in her colorful lyricism, which has caught the attention of many people in the music industry, resulting in published material.
