Louise Goldberg

Louise was born and raised in New York, holds a Bachelor of Music in piano performance from Boston University and a Master of Music from Oklahoma City University.

Since the early 70's, Louise has appeared with a wide variety of performing groups and is comfortable in any style of music. She has played reggae music with The Street People and Whale and Flea, Latin music with Salsa Nueva , jazz with Talk of the Town and Los Locos, rocked out with Roger Lienke and played folk music with Wende Allyn, Emily Kaitz, and Freefall.

The inimitable Tommy Emmanuel has invited her to join him onstage.

Louise Goldberg and Mary Reynolds are the group called Miss Brown to You! Their music is a tasty blend of jazz, folk and blues. Louise (piano, accordion, guitar, mandolin,vocals) and Mary (guitar, bass, vocals) have been performing and writing together for more than 20 years.

At home in Oklahoma City Louise joins creative forces withSteve Beckett, owner and engineer of Ghede Sound recording studio. Some of the projects they have completed are: Montana Skies (scoring music for an educational video for Montana Public Schools), The Jataka Tales (scored and recorded background music for a book on CD), and a video for a Moon Project on display at the Space and Rocket Museum in Huntsville, Alabama.

Louise’s first solo album, "Here", was released in 2003 and features her inspired interpretations of classic jazz along with her own original music. Her group, Miss Brown to You just released a new CD in February 2012, called "Nightingale".
