Been playing since the '60s, started with surf guitar, English invasion and rock 'n roll, then into blues, country, jazz/rock, creative-jamming music (think Grateful Dead). Played a Gibson ES175 all these years. Played and toured with the "GEEKS" and "Live Band" for many years, also played with "Tink", all California jam bands. Lived in Hawaii in the '80s, played with Zac Helm and "Mixed Plate". I have been playing in worship bands since about '89 in churches in Hawaii and California. Currently I am performing in the California Central Coast area with original songs I've composed. I do a country/Americana mix. I am also the bass player for House Of Prayer, the hottest modern gospel band you could ever hear. I have been writing songs from my early guitar days, continually developing my craft. I was the principal writer for original material in the Geeks and Live Band. I now write mostly Christian and country music. I write songs about life and the challenges out there, keeping it all positive and uplifting! I won NTMA Songwriter of the Year in San Luis Obispo in 2011, I've won several Honorable Mentions in Billboard's World Song Contest, was a runner up in Great American Song Contest, and West Coast Song Contest.. Hopefully I'll continue to find success with my songwriting. If anyone out there is interested in working on co-writes, let me know!
