Megan Fay

My name is Megan Fay and my songs need a home! The pandemic has given me focus to write and make music. I have written, recorded about six songs in the past year while working full time. I was a music major in undergrad. I have written in various genres, including unique songs to honor immigrants. I am an " Indie" and work with Nicolas Laget, a voting member of the Grammy Academy. I play tenor sax, piano, and vocalist. Cordelle Glass helps me with beats, and I have worked with fantastic back up vocalists.

I recently received an "FINALIST" title for " You Lift Me Up" from the 2022 Midatlantic Song Contest which is hosted by the Washington Songwriters Association ( of which I am a member). I also received " HONORABLE MENTION" for " The Journey" in the Freedom Category of this competition, as this is a song I wrote to honor the journey of immigrants. In addition, I was THRILLED to be placed on Taxi's October 2022 " Top 10 " list for " You Lift Me Up"!

I am a physician assistant , and also a radiology and anatomy teacher. My family and I like to exercise, and go to the beach.
