John Carpenter and Mike Jones started making music together as part of a rock band known as Petre-Gunn which then morphed into No Cliche'. Shortly thereafter they started a recording studio (Thunderclap Recording) and have been writing songs and playing music together since. John made a career out of running the studio and also performing in several bands such as Urban Twang, Carpmen, Whistling Jupiters, and Nomad Planets. Now they've narrowed their focus to writing/recording original music.
