Joe Gothard

Joe started performing live, playing guitar, while at Ohio University in the mid 1970's. During that period he began to develop a signature Santanaish solo style and funky rhythm chops.

In later years he exhibited more of a jazz style, as a former founding member of the contemporary jazz group the Urban Jazz Coalition. UJC has had a number of songs to chart in the Smooth Jazz genre.

Writing for film and tv projects has expanded Joe's view and approach to music.

Joe plays guitars, bass, keys and uses Pro Tools, Waves Plug In Bundles and various sound libraries.
