I’ve been writing poetry since I was a teenager (almost 40 years ago) but never really focused specifically on song writing until early this year. With the creation of AI software, the lyrics I wrote have come to life in a way that I couldn’t have imagined, for me specifically. I know producers are wary of this new technology as copyright and other infringements need to been worked out for this platform to find its home in the music industry. What I find most interesting and exciting is this technology allows me to write from both male and female perspectives.
I just really hope the review of my music with my own personal lyrics can allow the right person to consider my content and look beyond the way it was created and just listen to it without reservations. I want to share my stories through songs…and whatever that looks like, I’m willing to go for it. Ideally I would love to have a vocal artist pick up my songs and want to perform it live for all to hear. I’m still learning but I know I have a gift that could fit in the music industry in some way. If a producer could take just one chance with AI, let it be me.
