Eric Lazar

Eric H Lazar is a prolific songwriter and a guitarist/singer/multi-instrumentalist based in the Mt. Hood area of Oregon. He is a Musicians Institute graduate, guitar teacher and a former student at the Conservatory of Music at the University of The Pacific.
Eric's influences include a broad range including Classic/Rock, Americana, traditional Blues and Country, Metal, and even some Electronic Rock.
His bands have included Xenogenic, The Mere Mortals, The New Natives, Fatcat, Oakbottom, Lightning Hand and Homegrown Sounds.
He has been a part of at least 11 studio albums with various bands/projects. His songs have been used in movies such as "The Bill Collector", used as background music for commercials in Oregon/Washington and other commercial DVD projects. In 2018 he did a jingle for the Phoenix Zoo which aired on radio and TV. His bands over the years have opened or played before Journey, ZZ Top, Mumbo Gumbo and David Gans.
Eric has written over 200 songs spanning many genres. He currently has available on the web: 7 albums of Rock'n'Roll, 1 album of instrumental Electronica and 1 acoustic album.
After performing live for 20+ years he is now concentrating on getting his foot in the door in the TV/ movies music industry, writing background/instrumentals.
