There was a time in my life when I was down and out, having experienced death and seen the darkest side of what I could only imagine as hell. But through it all, I was given a second chance—a gift. Now, I have the ability to hear a phrase, recall a moment in time, and vividly see, whether good or bad, a snapshot in my mind. With that, a set of lyrics unfolds in my head, often complete with verses, choruses, pre-choruses, bridges, and outros. I sang in the choir during high school, and spent my childhood listening to all genres of music, yet never did I imagine I would perform or write my own. Ironically, the music I now create makes me smile, laugh, dance, sing out loud, and even cry. It’s my hope that the music I share will have that same emotional impact on you.
