Calm Attack is a three piece Alternative Rock band based in Aberdeen, Scotland influenced by Thirty Seconds to Mars, Imagine Dragons and Switchfoot.
Members - Chris Paterson (Vocals/Guitar) Rory Jamieson (Bass) and Lucas Zawadski (Drums)
The band started in 2019 after building a following on Instagram playing alternative rock covers.
We have released some singles and EPs on Spotify etc and have received radio play from BBC Introducing and Amazing radio. Our release "Demons" was featured on Spotify Editorial playlists "All New Rock", "Smells like Stream Spirit", "Rock your body" and "Alternative Rock's Gems". Our new Single 'This is our Time" was recorded by Mark Morrow (Vistas, Retro Video Club) and the video was directed by Stuart Alexander (Saint Phnx, Del Amitri, Gerry Cinnamon)
Our new release has been featured on blogs such as "It's all Indie", "Kimu", "Mystic Sons" as well as many more.
We have played with some other great Scottish bands in the past such as Twin Atlantic, the X certs and The Twilight Sad.
We have a growing audience on Instagram (over 2,000 followers) and Tik Tok ( over 1,000 followers). We currently have 4k monthly listeners on Spotify and our track "Demons" has reached around 80,000 streams so far on Spotify. We also have a youtube channel of 1,000 subscribers.
We are currently recording new music in the studio and preparing for gigs next year. Our lyrics are inspired by themes of Love, Death, Religion and mental health. We want our songs to help people going through dark times in their life just as our favourite bands have helped us and we want to make music that makes people feel alive.
