Brandon Jamison

I’ve been writing and performing songs since I was 15. I grew up in the corn fields of central Illinois, and I think my music has come to reflect the laid back nature of living in a small town. I spent my teen years in the late 90’s fronting a pop-rock band that slowly transitioned in a more aggressive hard-rock direction in the early 2000s. We spent about a decade touring around the Midwest mostly (with occasional jaunts south and to the eat coast).

As we all began to have kids and settle into new phases of family life, the band slowly fizzled out. I began writing and producing my own songs at that point, and that’s where I find myself today!

I’m a husband to an amazing supportive wife who allows me to be a moody creative person, and I’m a father to two very headstrong boys which is teaching me many life lessons! The more life I live, I’m discovering that songs can come from every nook and cranny of life. So, I’ve been learning to pay more attention to the little things in life…learning to see the places where magic comes from the mundane.
