Hi, I’m Bart, and I’ve been passionately making music for over 40 years. I’m open to a wide range of genres—reggae, dub, funk, soukous, African music, dance, house, cumbia, surf, rock, samba, bossa nova, Latin… but especially world music.
In my younger years, I worked at a record store and as a DJ. At 14, I started playing bass and guitar, which led me to my first rock bands. As an amateur multi-instrumentalist and producer, I love recording and shaping my music as much as possible on my own in my home studio. When in doubt, I collaborate with other musicians through various platforms to enrich the sound.
My passion for blending different musical styles has resulted in 12 unique projects under various artist names—“Loco in the Coco” being one of them.
Let's go party
