Teghan Devon

Teghan Devon is an award-winning singer-songwriter based in Maryland, but who has also lived in California, Texas, Michigan, Minnesota, Massachusetts, and Norway. She has been writing and performing her songs for 12 years and fell in love with music when she was first introduced to The Beatles. Teghan is known for her memorable melodies and pensive lyrics. Her songwriting shows traces of some of her heroes, Taylor Swift, Phoebe Bridgers, and Tracy Bonham. Her voice has been compared to that of Lizzy McAlpine, Norah Jones, and Fiona Apple.

In 2022, Teghan’s single “Our Garden”, won Grand Prize in the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest, in July of 2020, her EP “Little Lion”, reached #70 on the Folk Alliance International Folk DJ Chart, and in both 2017 and 2018, she was a New Folk Finalist at the Kerrville Folk Festival. This past winter, Teghan’s song “Wander”, off of her debut album “Fingers Crossed”, was heard on “The Young and the Restless”. In 2021, Teghan's song "Maybe Then", off of her EP "Little Lion", was heard on MTV's "Ghosted: Love Gone Missing".

Teghan graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2021 and graduated as a songwriter from Lillehammer Institute of Music Production and Industries (LIMPI) in 2023.

Teghan’s voice has been compared to that of Norah Jones, Edie Brickell, and Fiona Apple. Teghan’s songwriting shows traces of her heroes, Taylor Swift, Phoebe Bridgers, Mitski, and Juliana Hatfield. Teghan's songs are introspective and personal. She is known for her memorable melodies and pensive lyrics.
