Aki Knaappila

I am a passionate and detail-oriented composer and sound designer who has significant experience in narrative music, music production, and adaptive music. With excellent team-working and organizational skills, I thrive under tight deadlines. My skills include music composition/production, sound design, audio engineering, music engraving, and music conducting.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Culture and Arts with a focus on music composing from Tampere University of Applied Sciences and have taken additional courses in music conducting and sound design.

I have had the opportunity to work with notable clients such as the Walt Disney Company and The Lego Group, among others, as a contractor composer/sound designer for Unfathomable Audio Ltd. With my skills in adaptive music, sound design, and Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio, I have contributed to creating immersive and engaging experiences for various projects.

With my extensive knowledge of Logic Pro X and experience in live performances, mixing, and mastering, I am equipped to deliver high-quality sound experiences. Fluent in both English and Finnish.
