Brian Clarke Secret Songwriter

For many years I sat on the edge of my bed with a pen, an old exercise book and a guitar. Staying up late at night and into the early hours of the morning writing about my emotions, experiences, relationships and my life in general. Trying to complement with music my feelings. Endeavoring to capture on paper the essence of the joy, happiness, hurt and disappointment I was experiencing articulately. Not being a performer or singer my covert songwriting continued hidden for decades with my immediate family being my only occasional audience. On the insistence of my teenage son, a year ago, I took the important step of having some of my songs recorded under the sobriquet of Brian Clarke Secret Songwriter. I grew up in Melbourne Australia working in Educational and Government management roles. I am married with three wonderful children. I continue to love playing guitar and listening to and writing music and enjoy swimming, walking and experiencing all that life has to offer.
