Multi-instrumentalist/composer Rich Switzer began his career as a working musician at the age of thirteen. His four albums of melodic piano instrumentals have made a significant mark on the New Age/AC market. Rich's debut release Quiet Storm was picked up by national distributor DeVorss and Company and was also sold through his live performances in book and music stores, health food stores and spas across the United States. Rich's sophomore project, Soulmate was equally successful and caught the attention of veteran producer Charles Calello who Rich collaborated with on an ambient/mood music project. The result was two CDs, Meditation and Stress Relief.
Live performance continues to inspire new fans and motivate Rich in his musical growth. He has performed with and/or been the musical director for a variety of major artists including Faith Prince, the Four Freshmen, Mary Wilson of the Supremes, Nicolas King, Marilyn Maye, and Avery Sommers.
