Hey! I just very recently was convinced by some other artists to release some of my own stuff, in the past I have mainly done production for other folks.
Super passionate about contemporary jazz. Alfa Mist, Rob Glasper Experiment, Yussef Dayes, are all huge influences in all my work.
This WAVYTONE ORCHESTRA project is sort of an homage to those artists, imagine maybe if it was produced by Kevin Parker/Tame Impala. So, some loops, some electronic elements, some experimentation, and a lot of good feeling grooves. To me at least. All instrumentation by me, besides the bass outro on stationary motion is Jorge Andino, and saxophone is by the incredible Chet Frierson.
I have really just started to dive into releasing my own music, but I have a ton of other demos I could share if interested. Planning on releasing another Spotify single here very soon!
