Rex Pearce

Rex Pearce is a writer producer from the New Orleans area that has written hundreds of songs. He has recorded in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Nashville, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans. When Rex was 19 years of age, he was one of the top winners of a song contest. He received a publishing deal with a Los Angeles publishing firm. Rex has had songs placed in movies and on national TV shows. Rex has several songs placed with three different movie licensing firms. Two are in CA and one in Chicago. Rex is a BMI writer. Rex is also the guitarist with The Groove Krewe featuring Nick Daniels III. Their debut album Run to Daylight is being played in 20 countries. The title song was number one on the Roots Music Report Top 50 Soul Blues Song Chart. Rex wrote 8 of the ten songs on The Groove Krewe CD. He also played guitar on these songs. The CD has received great reviews in several countries. Rex has written songs in many genres, several of which have received significant radio airplay. Rex continues to write and produce and will do another Groove Krewe release in 2023. Rex is also the owner of his own record label and publishing firm, Sound Business Services, LLC.
