Singer/Songwriter, Producer, Carlos (CW) Fields has released a hard rock album as the lead singer and guitarist for the Houston-based rock band, Attica.
From 1999 to 2002 he became the in-house producer for, Unified Entertainment an Indie rap label. Under the production name of 2-Tone, Fields became
one of the top rap producers in the southern region. As the main producer of the Texas Ballers compilations, he was able to work with notable artists such as,
Lil Flip, South Park Mexican, Big Pokey, and Kid Frost. He also worked on with the Label, Swisha House on a catalog of screwed and chopped rap that is
popular in the southern region, which led to some of his productions to be release by Universal Music.
In 2016 he decided to pursue his love of songwriting and began to visit Nashville to begin writing with various songwriters, focusing on new country music productions. He continues to write and produce country music today. In 2020 he became a part of, Sync Academy and began to study the Sync field.
In 2022, Fields was chosen to score and write a theme song for an Indie horror film called, Price To Pay", in which he won an award for his work. As he continues to work in various genres his most recent production was written with a Pakistani artist releasing a song in Urdu. Fields says he has long surpassed the 10,000-hour requirement and insists he is closer to 30,000 and is still trying to figure it out.
