JohnnyChandlerPiano: A Melodic Journey

I have been a musician most of my life. I started playing piano at restaurants and piano bars since I was 18. While I play multiple instruments, the piano has always been my main instrument. Over the years, I have taught private and group piano classes and even served as the director of a homeschool band with about 35 students.

When I was about six years old, my Uncle Tommy taught me a couple of songs on the piano. He, along with his brothers and sisters, really encouraged me to pursue music. They were all very talented musicians despite facing significant financial hardships. Uncle Tommy was my biggest inspiration. At one point, he lived under a bridge, and I would bring my keyboard powered by a car battery to play music with him on the railroad tracks. His encouragement has always stayed with me, and I recently returned to that spot, over 30 years later, to record a video playing piano under the bridge.

I truly enjoy composing and recording music on the fly. My music, characterized by its relaxing, and meditative qualities, reflects my passion for creating soothing soundscapes.

I am married with four children and two grandchildren, all of whom are musically talented. Six months ago, I had a liver transplant, a life-changing event that reignited my passion for music. Now, I am more determined than ever to pursue my lifelong dream. I believe that creativity is a major key to happiness, and now is the time to embrace it fully.
