Black Sands

Black Sands is the recording project of Andrew Balfour, an American songwriter, musician and producer based in Los Angeles. He collaborates with different vocalists from all over the world and world-class musicians on each record, producing a synthesis of modern pop with a retro twist while blending rock, country and electronic elements - reminiscent of Post Malone, The 1975 and Harry Styles.


Garnering over 3MM streams (growing 100% year over year), 5+MM social media impressions and over 20k social followers Andrew continues to build on his catalogue of over 30 released songs to date. Black Sands debut EP Lightwaves has been featured in indie music publications like EARMILK, Rolling Stone, Variance, Atwood Magazine and Wonderland. Working with collaborators across the globe including #1 Billboard songwriter Ryan Lawrie (BTS, TxT, Enhyphen , Steve Aoki) Davide Russo (The Chainsmokers, Martin Garrix, Marshmello) Paul Pesco (Madonna, Chromeo, Janet Jackson), LUXXURY, Isadora, Jordan Astra and more - Andrew is ready to bring his unique brand of pop to the world in 2024 and beyond.
