Jose Ramón Madrid Alonso

Jose R. Madrid Alonso is a composer, producer and guitarist/multi-instrumentalist based in Barcelona. He has more than 18 years of experience as a producer, arranger and orchestrator. During the last few years, among others, he has been part of the show «Burn The Floor» with which he has spent 6 years touring around the world, as a musician and musical director.

Currently, his creative work is focused on music production in general and specifically on the composition of music for screen: animation, advertising, live action and video games.

His wide and diverse training, curiosity and interests in different musical languages makes his palette of tools and resources richer, therefore his approach to new productions is adapted and totally personalized to the needs of the audiovisual project.

Jose has studied at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) where he studied a Degree in Classical Guitar/Musical Pedagogy and dubbed in flamenco and jazz guitar. Later he also studied a Master’s Degree in Music Production Techniques and Technologies (IDEC) and a Master’s degree in Filmscoring.
