MetalLord is the musical act and art project created by David F. Starr and Gustav Starr. This father/son team mixes the cyberpunk/anime/Gorillaz styling with the musical DNA of Metallica, Black Sabbath, and The Darkness.
The story’s tagline, “All I ever wanted was a band, but this is a story of how I saved the world with my guitar,” highlights the epic tale of loner turned hero as his bandmates are won over through his battles with kaiju.
