Pete Widin (Oatpod)

Pete is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, songwriter and producer focused on indie folk. He was selected as a finalist for the 2022 SongCon awards, a competitive songwriting camp led by Ari Herstand of Ari's Take, and NYC producer Danny Ross.

After a brief surge in popularity as lead singer of a Twin Cities rock act, the pandemic led Pete down the path of home recording and production, and he then met collaborater Todd Bradt. The pair are currently working on more songs together and building their indie folk catalog, and Pete is an active student in Mastering.com's The Reverse Engineer program, a degree-level program from music production to final mastering of Grammy quality music.
