I've been writing songs for longer than I can remember. My father had three cassette tapes in his car when I was growing up, Dolly Parton, Hank Williams, Sr., and the Beach Boys. The first songs I remember Mom (who wrote Cry, Cry, Cry, recorded by Connie Smith) playing were Jim Croce's Bad, Bad Leroy Brown & Two More Bottles of Wine, a song written by Delbert McClinton & popularized by Emmylou Harris. Just that little bit of my childhood explains a lot, not everything but a lot. My Mom being a Nashville songwriter herself made the biggest impact. Long after she left the "biz" she continued to pen heartfelt country, gospel, and blues tunes to the delight of me and my friends. I do not know a life without making music any more than a fish knows life without water. I hope you like some of the songs. ---Terry Glen Adams
