Ove Schei

Ove is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and songwriter from a small town called Stokmarknes, in the North of Norway. He was born in 1967, and influenced by the record-collections his two older brothers, he quickly developed an interest in a wide range of music. He began singing and playing the guitar at 9 years old, and it didn’t take long before he started to write songs of his own.

He soon got interested in piano, and have always had a strong heart for bass-guitar and rhytm.
At the age of 16 he left school for a career as professional musician, and has earned a living out of music since then. He has written quite a few songs up through the years, but without any thought or idea of what to do about them, but in 2017 he got more structured in his writing and composing. Using his experience from a career as a musician he was quickly able to adapt to different styles and ideas. And the beautiful and scenic nature in the North of Norway along with the Northern Lights, are just perfect surroundings for a creative soul to explore the universe of music.
