Mike Barnhill (HYDRA FIGHTER)

HYDRA FIGHTER was born out of a call with a business coach. Mike Barnhill had a past full of rock bands and tours and late nights. Now he was a dad, and a business owner and a happy, healthy, upper middle class forty something with a bunch of old songs and a bunch of emotions that couldn't be expressed through drunken screams into microphones at seedy bars. HYDRA FIGHTER is a post....post hardcore singer-songwriter and composer who is just now setting out on the journey that has called him for years.....for decades. Singing songs that are about the internal struggles, and the family struggles that are inevitable in a life well lived. Unapologetically upper middle class and taking back the themes of marriage, and family, and work, on which country music has had a monopoly for far too long.
