Laurence Chakur
Battle Creek, MI
My primary musical influences have come from the American Songbook and such singers as Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Tony Bennett. But I was raised in Detroit during the beginning days of Motown and rock with exposure to jazz also. I have written romantic love songs, Christian, Blues and Country Style songs.
