The bio below is just part of the story. I started out in this world in music and really thought I’d make it. Life does what life does and when something chess in music wasn’t forthcoming, I became an entertainment journalist and syndicator. If I couldn’t make it in music, I’d stay in that field. Except music never left my soul. When my I knew my mom wasn’t long for this world (she passed Dec 27), I went back to the only thing that truly nourished my soul and a breaking heart: music.
Except this time when I went back to write, something changed in me. I wrote two of the most prolific songs I’d ever written. “A Mother’s Love,” and “I Don’t Want To Say Goodbye,” both available on Spotify and other music platforms.
The accolades I’ve gotten for these two songs has changed the trajectory of my life. And it’s the reason I decided to join TAXI. I believe in the right hands these two songs could become standards.
My Media Background
Jesse Nash, named “the leading PR machine in America” by New York Magazine for his ability to know a headline story when he sees it and bring it to the printed page (and the digital world), is a powerhouse force for Cricket Public Relations and its clients. The New York Post’s Page Six Column has referred to him as being “ubiquitous.” And The NY Daily News has called him the obvious: “a globetrotter.”
Beginning in 1987, Jesse began serving hundreds of magazines and newspapers as a leading syndicated journalist and has broken some of the world’s most memorable and historic celebrity stories on the biggest names in Hollywood and entertainment, including: Frank Sinatra, Stevie Ray Vaughn, BB King, Roy Orbison, Marlene Dietrich, Jean Kennedy Smith, Oliver Stone, Warren Buffet, Cyndi Lauper, Naomi Campbell, Madonna, Richard Gere, Paul Simon, and Donald Trump.
He is internationally known and he and his team at Cricket Public Relations have succeeded in placing "A-list” articles in over 80 countries, notably: UK: Hello Magazine, The Daily Mail, The Sunday Times; Spain: OLA; France: Paris Match; Germany: Bunte; Australia: The Sydney Morning Herald; China and Hong Kong: South China Morning Post, Elle; Japan: Flix; Russia: Vogue; Italy: La Repubblica; and of course, the U.S.: The New York Times, the Associated Press, Gannett Syndicated Newspapers, Rolling Stone, The NY Post, USA Today, Forbes, Bloomberg, CNBC and all major TV and radio networks.
Jesse and his team not only have the right connections but know how to strategize a brand's personality and roll it out big-time like none other, and will help dissect, shape, and position any brand perfectly to galvanize enthusiasm as well as long-term awareness and sales.
Jesse is known as a strategic thinker and is an integral part of shaping the overall branding and, subsequently, brand extensions for each client Cricket Public Relations represents. He is an expert at identifying and analyzing target audiences for specific projects and an expert at shaping both the short-term awareness needed to launch a project, as well as long term initiatives that keep a project, personality or brand popular.
But ultimately, my dream is to get these two songs in a major motion picture. I want a Grammy. Maybe even an Oscar nomination. So I need to put myself out there even more than I’ve been doing. And now here I am for all to…. Hear.
