Erika Sherger

Erika Sherger is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Northern New Jersey. Her vocal style is most often compared to Stevie Nicks, Carly Simon and Natalie Merchant. Her songwriting is heavily informed by Americana, indie folk and alt country (Ryan Adams, Wilco, Iron and Wine, etc).

Erika has been playing music, singing and writing since she was a child, but only started playing out, recording and gigging in 2019 and has learned and grown immensely -as an artist, her own booking agent, her own publicist and as a co-producer on her songs since then. Quite prolific in her songwriting, she has released two albums since then is currently recording her third. She released her first EP, Like Birds, in March 2021, a complication of 8 songs she wrote during COVID. Her second release, a full-length album of 12 songs called Bad Wolf, was released in March 2023. On weekends, she can be found playing songwriter shows and duo and trio gigs at bars, restaurants and coffee houses in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Erika landed her first sync placement in November of 2023, with a song she co-wrote being synced on CBS's the Young and the Restless. Hopefully the first of many, she has been avidly taking courses, practicing her recording and production skills and collaborating with other songwriters and musicians from around the world to create music to pitch for briefs.

One of Erika's collaborators is Victor Phillips, a musician, producer and sound engineer from Pennsylvania. Victor has been making up songs since he learned to sing as a toddler. Songwriting is still one of his lifelong creative passions, along with travel, spirituality and intentional living.
