Mesa Jane
Philadelphia, PA
Mesa Jane is a genre-blending songwriter and recording artist from the Philadelphia area. She recently celebrated her first TV placement for one of her songs on Hulu's "How I Caught My Killer" (Thanks to TAXI!!!) Although she has toured the nation in support of past album releases and has played festivals from Texas (SXSW) to Toronto (Indie Week) she feels most at home when she’s creating in the studio.
In the past decade, she has recorded music with Grammy winning producer & engineer Tim Sonnefeld (Usher, Elvis Costello, The Dixie Hummingbirds), engineer Joel Metzler (Saleka Shyamalan, Mason Porter, Kelly Clarkson) and Grammy-nominated producer/engineer Alex Salzman (Ace Frehly, Arlon Roth, Alan Menken). Mesa’s intimate vocals and captivating lyrics have earned her a spot on several compilation albums, and two award nominations from both the Independent Music Awards and the Hometown Heroes Awards.
Currently Mesa is co-writing for sync projects and collaborating with other artists, and continuing efforts for a third full-length album. Other passions include nature, travel, good food, and especially being a mom of two boys.
