is that you did a great job on the structure and the story is solid and well pitched Charles.

I think you could improve this song by

turning up the energy and emotion in the choruses and being more dynamic rhythmically while creating a stronger melodic arc

I didn't hear the kind of ear-worm melodies or engaging rhythms needed to nail the forward.
