The Road Rally is little more than a week away (November 3rd – 6th). If you haven’t registered yet, now is the time! All systems are “go,” and we’re taking care of hundreds of little details to make sure your Rally experience is as wonderful as always.
Getting the schedule nailed down, and coordinating with sponsors has been a little harder this year. We’re calling it “COVID Hangover.” People and companies are still adjusting to getting back to normal life, but we’re 99% ready.
Below, you’ll see buttons that will let you download PDFs of schedules, mentor bios, class titles, class descriptions, etc. etc. Click, download, and check them out before you come to the Rally so you can get an idea of which panels, classes, and mentors are most appealing to you!
We’re also including some photos and attendee comments from past Rallies to inspire you to come this year!
We’re very excited to see you all again, and if you’re the kind of person who’s wondering if you’ll feel comfortable at such a big event, the answer is yes! Year after year, we hear from people who finally came after being trepidatious in the past, and every single one of them tells us they loved it and they’re kicking themselves for not coming sooner. They loved it, easily made a bunch of new friends, and met collaborators and made industry connections as well. We’re pretty sure you’ll feel the same! Just go with it!!!
"We've been to many music conferences. The TAXI Road Rally is the best one, by far. It's family." — Carol and Ed Nicodemi
"I was surprised at how easy it was to meet people. I'm pretty introverted, so it's tough for me to go up to a stranger and start a conversation, but it was so easy there – in lines, classes, at the bar. I met a ton of people, had some great conversations, made a bunch of new friends. And I was surprised at how eager the experienced members were to give you tips. Everybody seems to want to help you be successful. Great vibe."—Rob Roper
"As a music producer, my happy place is by myself with my computer and my sounds. This was my second Road Rally, and I can tell you it was amazing, inspiring, and life changing. To those who may be on the fence about attending the Road Rally, all I can tell you is – just go. Start planning now, and make it happen. You'll be glad you did!"—James Hagarty
"Dear Michael, I just wanted to say how impressed I am with TAXI. After leaving the Rally, I’m feeling super emotional and very overwhelmed with a feeling that I’m still trying to put my finger on. But I think that my “overwhelm” is coming from being around so much greatness for the last 3 days. I just can’t believe the quality of writers, industry professionals, teachers, and most of all HUMANS that were at the rally. It is so rare, particularly in our industry, for there to be events like this that have such a high level of quality but led with heart. The spirit of generosity that permeates through every class, every person, and every conversation. What an incredible gift you and your team are giving the world. I’m deeply grateful and so honored to be part of this organization. Thank you, thank you, I hope you get to take a long nap now ;)"—Ciara McAllister
"Many relationships began for me at the Rally, not only with fellow members, but also with music library owners and publishers who eventually signed my music. I would not have any of the success I have had so far without the TAXI Road Rally. It’s a no-brainer in my opinion, if you’re serious about your career."—Robbie Hancock
"I nearly didn't make the trip over from Hong Kong, thinking that it was too early to benefit from the Rally after joining only 6 months ago. I couldn't have been more wrong, and this really was one of the most outstanding and enriching events I have ever been to."—Andrew
"I’m skeptical of any service that offers to help musicians ‘make it’… so I didn’t know what to expect. …90% of [the TAXI Road Rally] was the most focused, specific, high-quality advice I’ve ever seen distributed in a seminar format."—Stephen Fortner, Editor, Keyboard Magazine
"You guys are amazing! The advice, instruction and exposure are worth thousands of dollars. And it was free!"—Alex Paul
